Nigeria: NLC Wants Gov's Aide Sackedaide

Asaba — The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Delta State chapter, has urged Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to immediately review the appointment of one of his aides to avoid industrial disharmony in the state.

The NLC unanimously passed a vote of no confidence on Mike Okeme, the governor's Special Adviser on Labour and Industrial Relation Matters, warning the governor that Labour would not give further notice of action (to protest) if he fails to revisit Okeme's appointment.
