Angola: Geology Sector Discourages Illegal Inert Exploration

Cuito — Department of Geology, Mining and Industry in the central Bie province is sensitising the population that survive by trading of inerts through workshop on the preservation of the environment.

This was said to Angop on Friday by the director of Geology, Mining and Industry, Carlos Gomes César.

He highlighted that these actions have been contributing to the awareness of the population to carry out activities of inert explorations, taking always in account the conservation of environment.

Without disclosing the families involved in the mining exploration, Carlos Gomes César stated that the fiscal officers are paying routine visits to river banks and other reserves of stones and gravels, as well as other inert in the region.
