Nigeria: IAAF, CAA Commend AFN

The hierarchies of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and the Confederation of Africa Athletics (CAA) led by Presidents Lamine Diack and Hammed Kalkaba Malboum have commended the strides so far made by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) in the performances of its athletes in track and field.

The commendation was made after the AFN technical director, Navy Commodore Omatseye Nesiama, made a brief presentation on the Centre's activities, achievements and challenges to the CAA Congress held in Marrakech at the start of the African Senior Athletics Championships where Nigeria is competing as defending champions.
