Kenya will be represented by 24 athletes at the second Youth Olympic Games which commence today in Nanjing, China. The athletes will be taking part in three events including athletics, rugby ~Sevens and weight-lifting.
A total of 11 runners will take part in the various track and field events including Jackline Chepkoech, Rosefling Chepngetich, Geoffrey Kipkoech, Anthony Kiptoo, Amos Kirui, Moses Koech, Winfred Mbithe, Ian Mutuku, Agnes Mulee, Gilbert Kwemoi and Maureen Thomas.
