A new digital television platform that will provide access to a greater number of stations to households in Nigeria and across West Africa, at a relatively low cost, has been launched in Nigeria. It was launched recently by SES, a global satellite company, in partnership with Computer Warehouse Group (CWG), a leading pan-African ICT company, on the SES's ASTRA 2F satellite, at 28.2 degrees East.
The launch, which took place alongside the 2014 Broadcast Summit in Lagos, witnessed the attendance of broadcasters, IT professionals, advertisers and administrators from different parts of the country.
