The government of The Gambia under the leadership of President Jammeh is fully committed to eradicating poverty and improving the welfare of Gambians through efficient policies and the creation of a conducive environment for growth, the vice president and Women's Affairs minister has said.
In a statement delivered on her behalf Wednesday by the Basic and Secondary Education minister at the launch of Action Aid's fourth Country Strategy Paper (CSPIV) at a hotel in Kololi, H.E Aja Dr. Isatou Njie-Saidy hailed the NGO for its fruitful collaboration with the government in poverty alleviation strides.
