Last weekend, I traversed the northern region. While there, I interacted with numerous leaders, from district to sub-county levels, on the progress of implementation of the NRM manifesto and government programmes.
I also met NRM leaders to assess the progress of mobilisation for the NRM party as we gear up for the 2016 general elections, as well as consolidation of the party's dominance in the region after 2016. My interface didn't leave out some Opposition leaders who are working within government structures, policies and programmes to implement the NRM manifesto.
