Nigeria: Imo High Court Warns Against Exploiting Powers of Judiciary

Owerri — An Imo State High Court presided over by Justice K. A. Orjiako, has warned people who want to exploit the powers of the court to heat up the polity to desist from such act.

Justice Orjiako made his feelings known while reacting to the ex-parte motion, HOR/88/2014, brought before the court, by two agents of Imo State Government, Eze Samuel Ohiri and Edinburgh Olumba, seeking the leave of court to stop Eze Cletus Ilomuanya from celebrating the New Yam Festival of Obinugwu autonomous community.
