Algeria: Road Accidents - 73 Killed, 2566 Injured in One Week

Algiers — Seventy-three (73) people were killed and 2566 others injured in 1971 road accidents which occurred throughout the national territory during the week of July 27 to August 2, according to a toll established by the Civil Protection on Tuesday.

The heaviest toll was recorded in the province of Mascara (361-km west of Algiers) with 10 dead and 14 injured in 24 accidents, added the source.
