Algeria: First Media Caravan of Labour Ministry Launched

Algiers — The first caravan on the activities of the sector of labour and social security was launched Monday from la Grande Poste (Algiers) to inform the general public about the sector's missions and programmes and the different mechanisms aimed at promoting employment.

The official kick off was given by Secretary General of Labour Ministry Mohamed Khiat, Algiers' Governor Abdelkader Zoukh, in the presence of Transport Minister Amar Ghoul.

This caravan, initiated by Labour Ministry, will cross the country's coastal provinces till August 27, under the slogan "Employment and social protection guarantee a decent job."

"Informing the large public about the sector's missions and programmes and the different mechanisms aimed at promoting employment, creating small companies and raising the citizens' awareness about the national security social system," are among the caravan's objectives.
