Liberia: Bong County - 25 Confirmed And Suspected Ebola Deaths - One Case Escapes To Monrovia

Gbarnga — The Bong County Health Team has disclosed that at least 10 persons have died of Ebola in the County, with more than fifteen suspected deaths.

At same time, Henry Ford, a health officer who allegedly came in contact with an Ebola patient in Rivercess County and reportedly escaped to Bong County has been diagnosed negative of the of the Ebola disease. Making the disclosure at the Bong County Regular Ebola Task Force Meeting on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Phebe Hospital, the Administrator of the Bong County Health Team, FatormaJusu said, Ford’s result followed the testing of his specimen in CharsevilleMargibi County.
Mr. Jusu said the specimen of Henry Ford was amongst five specimens recently sent to Charlesville for testing. He told the meeting the remaining four of the other specimens were diagnosed positive.
