Angola: Nhârea Authorities Get First 100 Residences

Nhârea — At least 100 residences, out of 200 houses under construction in Nhârea municipality in the central Bié province, were handed over on Friday to the local administrative authorities.

The official hand-over ceremony of the first 100 residences was led by the vice-governor for the technical and infrastructural affairs of Bié, José Fernando Chatovela.

On the occasion, the vice- governor said that it is the government task to work for the population's well-being, mainly the youths and elderly people.

Nhârea municipality has a population estimated at about 155,516 inhabitants, most of them is peasant.
