Angola: Bié Governor Unveils Agricultural Products Fair in Chinguar

Cuito — The governor of the central Bié province, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, opened on Saturday the fair on agricultural products in Chinguar municipality, under the festivities of the referred town's 42 founding anniversary, marked on 16 August.

The products include beans, potato, cassava, cassava and maize flour, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, onion, tomato and coffee, among others.

On the occasion, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto encouraged the farmers to increase the levels of the agricultural production, aiming to positively contribute to the programme for the Fighting against Hunger and Poverty amongst the communities.

He recommended for the need for the peasants to sell their products to PAPAGRO, with view to valuing their work and income, as well as permit for the products to reach to the consumer in acceptable conditions.
