Nigeria: Police to Enforce Law Against Smoking in Public Places

Lagos--As the ban on public smoking yesterday became effective, Lagos State Police Command weekend said it had put everything in place to enforce ban on public smoking in the state.

To ensure effective enforcement, the command in collaboration with British America Tobacco, BAT, organised a one-day sensitisation programme for senior police officers across the state, aimed at helping officers to understand how to enforce the new law.
