Palpable tension has gripped Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, after the Peoples Democratic Party's lawmakers in the state House of Assembly, who fled the state weeks ago, returned in a long vehicles of cars led by siren blaring outriders.
The legislators, who fled the state in the thick of the failed impeachment move against Governor Tanko Al-Makura, arrived from their self-imposed exile two weeks after the Assembly was scheduled to resume [August 4] after a short break.
