Kenya: Mutua Strips Kiala of Key County Government Roles

Machakos governor Alfred Mutua on Monday stripped his deputy Bernard Kiala of his public service,labour and ICT portfolio as differences between the two intensified.

Mutua gave the portfolio to the former agriculture and co-operative executive Larry Wambua to replace the deputy governor who was on Friday re-instated by the senate after being impeached by the Machakos county assembly.
