Nigeria: Profit Taking Continues, As NSE Index Drops 0.02 Percent

Lagos — For the fourth trading day in a roll, profit takers continued their hold of trading on the floor of The Nigerian Stock Exchange on Monday when both indicators closed in the red as they declined by 0.02 per cent apiece.

Equities capitalisation closed lower at N13.660 trillion after it depreciated by N3.113 billion as against N13.663 trillion it recorded at the close of trading on Friday, while the All-Share Index went down by 9.43 basis points to close at 41, 370.62 points, as against 41,380.05 points recorded at the weekend.
