Nigeria: Journalists Express Concern Over Insecurity On Bayelsa Waterways

18 August 2014

Journalists in Bayelsa State have expressed concern over the rising cases of kidnapping, pirates' activities and the attendant loss of lives in the creeks and waterways of the state.

The media practitioners drawn from the 12 chapels of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, warned that unless the rising cases of insecurity on the waterways were addressed, they will not cover the 2015 general elections.
