Namibia: Livestock Industry Gears Up for Shows

The Namibian livestock sector is gearing up for the fast approaching annual highlights on their calendars: the agricultural shows countrywide where they will showcase their very best small stock, cattle and poultry once again.

The Ongombe Agricultural and Industrial Show would be the first to take place this year after the Eastern Epukiro Farmers Association (EEFA) show which is opening today until Saturday in the village Omauezonjanda in the Epukiro Constituency in the Omaheke Region. The Ongombe show's gates open on August 26. The show will last until August 29. (See full story elsewhere in this edition of Farmers Forum).
