The ambitious growth in nation's external reserves weakened in the first 18 days of the August, going by latest data by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
During the period, reserves level rose by just $173.92 million or 0.44 per cent to $39.574 billion, as against $39.4 billion at the end of July.
