Tanzania: Son Beheads Father for Alleged Witchcraft

Sumbawanga — A FARMER from Kaseganyama Village, Sibwesa Ward along the shore of Lake Tanganyika in Mpanda District, Katavi Region , Salu Kadigosa (70), has been beheaded by his own son Masanja Kasatya (32), accusing him of terrorising his family through witchcraft. Masanja also accused his father for killing his two children by way of witchcraft.

Acting Katavi Region Police Commander (RPC), Mr Focus Malengo said Masanja is being interrogated by police along with three other suspects identified as Silya Masunga (30), Kibya Malongo (27) and Lutelema Mwanza (33), both from Sibwesa village.
