Nigeria: Violence Against Women - Na'abba Tasks Nass Over 14-Year-Old Bill

Former speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Ghali Umar Na'Abba, yesterday lamented that a bill designed to address violence against women has lingered in the National Assembly for over 14 years.

He however said the responsibility lies on the women, particularly the right to investigate why the bill has not been passed over the years.
