Saudi Arabia-based Nigeria track and field coach Taiwo Ariyo has said the second position the country's athletics team placed at the recently concluded Africa Athletics Championships in Marrakech, Morocco is not a yard stick in measuring federation's success.
The coach who has coached in several middle-East countries insisted that with Nigeria's athletics pedigree in the world, Rio 2016 Olympics remains proof of performance for athletes, coaches and AFN management, he told Daily Independent.
