Nigeria: Taraba Lawmakers Query Appropriation of N10 Billion Roads Fund

DISSATISFIED with how the N10 billion meant for the construction of four-kilometer roads in each of the 16 local councils of Taraba State was spent, members of the state House of Assembly have unanimously agreed to commence investigation into the issue.

To ensure the success of the exercise, an ad-hoc committee consisting of five members has been directed to immediately commence investigation on how the money was spent without been expended on what it was actually set aside for.
