Nigeria: Atilade, Fifth Lagos Woman Chief Judge Sworn-in

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State yesterday sworn in Justice Funmilayo Olajumoke Atilade as the new Chief Judge of the State. Her appointment was approved on Monday.

Justice Atilade succeeds her sister, Justice Ayotunde Phillips, who bowed out as Chief Judge on July 26, 2014, having attained the statutory age of 65 years.
