Nigeria: S'west PDP Disowns Tan Ibadan Rally, Alleges Marginalisation

Ado-Ekiti — The Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has faulted the planned rally billed for Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, saying the organisers lack the mandate to do so.

A statement issued by the party's state Publicity Secretary, Pastor Kola Oluwawole, in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, said the planned rally did not have the blessing of the leadership of the party in the South-West geo-political zone.
