Angola: President's Strategic Vision Highlighted in Lunda Norte

Dundo — The strategic vision of the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, was highlighted on Friday in Dundo, northeastern Lunda Norte Province, during a rally inserted in the campaign of exaltation and divulging of the president's deeds, in the ambit of the statesman's 72nd birthday, to be marked on 28 August.

The ruling party's National Assembly deputy Sérgio Luther Rescova Joaquim, who was speaking to the population, linked the Angolan history to the figure of José Eduardo dos Santos.

To him the president's performance since the beginning of clandestine armed struggle until the national independence celebration on 11 November, 1975, and his efforts towards peace achievement.

The MP highlighted the peace achieved on 4 April 2002 as premises for the development and an indelible mark which constitute a big challenge for President José Eduardo dos Santos, regarding peace maintenance.
