Kenya: KNH Services 'Not Affected' By Go-Slow

KENYATTA National Hospital says the picketing by intern doctors has not disrupted its operations.

The hospital has distanced itself from the protracted stand-off between health workers and county governments, saying services in all departments are running smoothly.

It has termed media reports of a go-slow as a misrepresentation of facts that are misleading to the public.

"KNH does not employ medical students but offer facilities for training," KNH CEO, Lily Koros said.

She was speaking yesterday at a press briefing in her office.

She urged the public to ignore reports that operations at the referral facility are paralysed.
