The senior police official also confirmed that Hanafi now admits that the Kenyan ID he possesses is a fake one.

The Kenyan Police arrested Hanafi at the beginning of this month at Eastleigh Estate in Nairobi. The police said, Hanafi arrived in Kenya in March this month for treatment as he was injured in air strikes in 2011. The Somali government requested the extradition of Hanadi so that he can be tried inside Somalia. He is currently waiting for a court order wanting him to be sent to Somalia. It is not clear when the Kenyan authorities will transfer him to the Somali authorities even though the Military Court of Somalia has prepared a case file for him eagerly waiting to try him.
