It is now becoming a norm for obscure artistes to shoot raunchy music videos for the shock value and to get a leg into the music industry.
The latest culprit to using that gimmick are rap trio Rajul, Jontez and Chris, university students. They have shoot a music video that objectifies young women in the crudest of ways. Dubbed Pombe Bangi, the single uses former Prime Minister's voice taking a cheap shot at political rivals during a past election campaign. The phrase "Akiamka asubuhi pombe, bangi (He wakes up in the morning and it's beer and weed)" is repeated over and over in the song.
