Maputo — Mozambique's ruling Frelimo Party on Monday praised the government for its posture in the dialogue with the former rebel movement Renamo which led to the Sunday night signing of a cessation of hostilities.
Addressing a Maputo press conference, the Frelimo Central Committee secretary for mobilization and propaganda, Damiao Jose, also praised Renamo “for understanding that the only solution to solving differences lies in dialogue, and not armed force”.
