Ghana: 70 Farmers in Bole to Benefit From Edif

press release

The District Chief Executive, Hon James Jaaga has appealed to farmers to use funds which were granted to them by Export Development and Investment Fund (EDIF), judiciously to benefit their family and the community in which they lived. He made this statement when he met farmers in Bole who were to benefit from EDIF.

The District Chief Executive said agriculture in the Bole District had a lot of potential, but its development was being hampered by high cost of farm labour, lack of mechanization centres, inadequate credit facilities, high cost of farm inputs, lack of storage facilities, indiscriminate bush burning, and lack of ready market for the farm produce among many others.
