Gambia: Milan Clinch East Super Cup

Milan on Friday clinched the SK East Super Cup title beating Medinaon penalties.

Both teams put on an impressive show but fluffed in front of goal. Medina had come earlier to breaking the deadlock had their striker not miscalculated sending his header high and above the cross bar.

Milan responded but the chance show yet another occasion of profligacy in front of goal. It was not until on post-match penalties that the two were separated.

Milan eventually emerged winners kicking off their nawettan season in the process on a bright note as they complete a silverware brace leaving Knockout Cup holders Medina trounced and dumped.

Milan won the East nawettan league championship last term and hopes to maintain an unblemished record on the road to defending their title.
