Nigeria: CBN Tasks Sokoto Residents On MSMED Fund

The Director, Consumer Protection Department, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Umma Aminu Dutse, monday advised the people of Sokoto State to take advantage of the N220 billion micro, small and medium enterprises development fund (MSMEDF) recently launched by the apex bank.

She also said the CBN had made robust arrangements with merchants to ensure adequate circulation of lower denomination and new notes to meet demands of consumers in the country. Dutse made the remark at a press briefing on the financial literacy and consumer protection awareness campaign held in Sokoto.
