Nigeria: Obinugwu Youths Commend Okorocha for Dethroning Ilomuanya

Hundreds of youths of Obinugwu community in Orlu local government area of Imo State, last week staged a peaceful march to Douglas House, Owerri, the official residence of Governor Rochas Okorocha, to commend him for removing Eze Cletus Ilomuanya, as traditional ruler of the area, as well as replacing him with HRH Eze Stanley Nwangwu Anaezionwu.

The youths who chanted various slogans, described the appointment of Eze Anaezionwu as the new traditional ruler of the community as a step in the right direction, saying that it would lead to peace and socio-economic transformation of the community.
