Nigerian soldiers, who allegedly escaped by a whisker to take refuge in neighbouring Cameroun following a fierce battle with members of the Boko Haram sect in Gamborou Ngala, Borno State on Monday, have resurfaced in Mubi, a border town in Adamawa State.
Although the number of the Nigerian soldiers who re-emerged in Mubi was not made known by security operatives who confirmed their re-entry into Nigerian territory, they informed THISDAY that the fight to recapture Gamborou from the terrorists continued throughout yesterday with many casualties recorded on the side of the sect.
