Liberia: Hot Meal Service Render to West Point

Montserrado County District 10 Representative, Saah Joseph, is currently providing hot meals to the quarantined residents of the Township of West Point. Rep. Joseph said the service seeks to feed the people of the township in the wake of the 21 day observation period declared in West Point by the Government of Liberia coupled with high poverty among the population there.

Speaking in Monrovia on the "Truth Breakfast Show" hosted on Truth FM 96.1 on Wednesday, he said the township has been divided into seven zones with each zone receiving five bags of rice and 5000 Liberian Dollars daily. Five women have been recruited in each of the zones to prepare the meals for the residents. He said the Representative of the West Point district, Solomon George, told him that all services being rendered his people, including food and sauce money should be channeled through him.
