Nigeria: Bauchi Gets First Female CJ

Bauchi State Governor Isa Yuguda yesterday swore in Justice Rabi Talatu Umar as the first female acting Chief Judge of the state.

A statement by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ishola Michael Adeyemi, said Governor Yuguda has promised to ensure independence of the judiciary.
