Nigeria: Journalists Urge Jonathan to Save Nigerian Football

THE Sports Editors' Guild, which comprises sports managers in the major media organisations in the country, has urged President Goodluck Jonathan to wade into the crisis threatening 'the soul of Nigerian football' before some individuals rubbish the gains recorded by the country in recent times.

Rising from its meeting in Lagos Wednesday, the Sports Editors condemned the 'show of shame' witnessed in Abuja on Tuesday, where some selfish individuals made a mockery of the country while pursuing their agenda.
