Nigeria: IGP Assures of Oil Infrastructure Protection

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Suleiman Abba has assured that the Force will give maximum protection to crude oil infrastructure in the country. The IGP gave the assurance in Abuja yesterday while receiving the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Joseph Dawah.

A statement by the spokesman of the Force, Emmanuel Ojukwu, quoted the IGP as assuring that the police would explore modern techniques of surveillance in protec-ting critical national infrastructure.
