Many Kenyans led by Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka and his county executives flocked Mbale town in Eastern Uganda for the official launch of the circumcision ceremony among the Bagisu and Bukusu last Tuesday.
The sub-tribes live in Kenya and Uganda and carry out the initiation in August every even year. The launch was presided over by Wamimbi Wilson Weasa the oldest man among the Bagisu and Bukusu who also doubles up as their cultural leader.
