Sudan: Abbala-Beni Hussein Clashes Continue in North Darfur

El Sareif Beni Hussein — Fighting between militants of the Abbala and Beni Hussein tribes continued for the second consecutive day on Thursday in North Darfur. Sources in the El Sareif Beni Hussein locality reported that the clashes have been taking place in Hijer Tigeiteeg and Um Madsees areas until Thursday evening.

There are no reports of deaths or injuries as a result of the fighting. Activists in the locality described the situation to Radio Dabanga as "tense". Crowds from both parties are gathering in the region, they reported.
