Egypt: PM Probes Impact of Climate Change On Economy

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting Thursday with Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy to discuss climate change and its impact on the national economy.

The environment minister gave a detailed presentation about the repercussions of climate change on the economy and preparations for a new environment negotiations round to be held in Peru in November before the final round in Paris in 2015.

The water resources minister and officials from the foreign, and agriculture ministries were present in the meeting.
