ON Saturday last week I was invited to attend an event where Tanzania and the United Kingdom students had pulled together to improve youth job prospects in Dar es Salaam.
Around 400 pupils from two community schools in urban Dar es Salaam came together at Manzese Secondary School for an action-packed Careers Day - the first event of its kind which was aimed at government school students.
