Nigeria: Financial, Conglomerates Stocks Lift NSE's Turnover By N16 Billion

HEAVY transactions in the shares of some banks and conglomerate companies, especially Access Bank and TransNational Corporation, last week buoyed the volume of shares traded, as s turnover of 1.342 billion shares worth N16.086 billion changed hands in 22,481 deals.

This volume of shares traded was higher than a total of 1.031 billion units valued at N12.284 billion, exchanged in 22,056 deals during the preceding week.
