Two Kenyan referees have been selected for the Africa women's championships finals between October 11-25 in Windhoek, Namibia. The continued good performance by Kenya match referees will see FIFA Centre referee Damaris Kimani and Assistant Mary Njoroge become the country's flag bearers. Group "A" will have Namibia, Zambia, Nigeria and Ivory Coast while Group "B" will include South Africa, Cameroon, Algeria and Ghana.
This will be the first time that Kenya women referees have been selected for the finals. The two have been regulars in the Kenyan Premier League. They have also officiated in the women's qualifiers.
