Tunisia: Investigation Ordered in Attempted Assassination of Deputy Nasri

Tunis — The public prosecutor ordered an investigation into the attempted attack on member of the National Constituent Assembly Mohamed Ali Nasri, spokesperson for the Tunis Court of First Instance Allala Rhouma told TAP on Tuesday.

The public prosecutor ordered a criminal investigation into terrorist crimes and assassination attempt, he pointed out.

Last night by identified gunmen who stormed Nasri's house in the Ezzouhour district in Kasserine, a TAP correspondent was told on Tuesday.

Mohamed Ali Nasri said masked men attacked his house late on Monday. He threw himself from the roof and hid in a neighbour's home, suffering a broken leg but no bullet wounds.
