Kenya: Respect Uhuru, Ng'ang'a to Cord

4 September 2014

Thika Town MP Alice Ng'ang'a has urged Cord leaders to respect President Uhuru Kenyatta as the Head of State. Speaking at Kimuchu Primary School in Kiganjo on Tuesday, she accused Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar of insinuating that Uhuru's visit to the coast was a Facebook affair.

Ng'ang'a sais Hassan's comments were disrespectful. The MP praised Uhuru for destroying the vessel seized with heroin in Mombasa. Ng'ang'a said all drug dealers should be named and dealt with harshly.
