Liberia: Lawmakers Call On Colleagues to Return

Plenary of the House of Representatives has mandated its members to return to session in the wake of the extraordinary session. The Legislature Extraordinary Session begun September 1, 2014.

They used the occasion to call on their colleagues, many of whom are currently out of the country and those who are in the country but not regular in session.

The House's decision to call on their colleagues was made following concern raised by Bong County District # 3 Representative George Mulbah.

The House Plenary also mandated the Committee on Rules, Order and Administration to examine all communication of excuses to determine those communication that gone beyond their statutory period.

Hon. Mulbah's concern was buttressed by several colleagues followed by a motion made by Bong County District # 1 Representatives Hon. Tokpah Mulbah.
