HIKED yields in the seven-year treasury bonds auctioned on Wednesday this week failed to attract investors in the long term papers ending up undersubscribed by 37.7 per cent.
The auction summary posted by the Bank of Tanzania (BoT) shows that weighted average to maturity increased to 15.74 per cent compared to 15.14 per cent of the seven years treasury bonds offered in the previous session.
